CNAN buys Clipper Gemini

September 8 - Algerian company CNAN Nord has acquired the 9,100 dwt multipurpose vessel Clipper Gemini, which it has renamed Saoura.

According to international media reports, the company is also planning to acquire Clipper Gemini's two sister vessels in the next two weeks.

The vessel is equipped with two 200-tonne capacity cranes giving it a tandem lifting capacity of 400 tonnes.

Saoura will provide cargo transportation on CNAN's Northern Europe-Algeria route.
