Cosmatos on the double

Cosmatos Shipping Services has coordinated port handling and operations involved in the delivery of six refinery columns and 86 loose parts in Greece.

The shipment had a total volume of 1,500 cu m. The largest column measured 27 m x 2.5 m x 2.5 m and weighed 20 tons (18.2 tonnes).

The cargoes originated from Thessaloniki and were destined for Port Said in Egypt.

In a separate project, Cosmatos coordinated the discharge, storage and transportation of four wind turbines, with blades measuring 65 m in length, at Thessaloniki port.

Cosmatos is the Greek member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC).
