Denmark's Little Mermaid returns home

November 18 - The statue of Denmark's famous fairy tale figure "The Little Mermaid" is now back home after her first ever journey abroad - to the Expo in Shanghai.

This Saturday she will be returned to her stone pedestal at Langelinie in Copenhagen after logistics company, Damcosecured her safe transportation to and from China.

Damco made sure that the renowned bronze figure was securely packed, transported to the airport and made it safely through security and customs, before being loaded onto the Singapore Airlines flight.

Pictured in her secret hiding place, the Little Mermaid is being made ready to be transported back to her waterfront stone at 'Langelinie' in Copenhagen.
