Farcont opens project cargo department

October 30 - Earlier this year, in response to market demands and increased shipping volumes, Ukrainian forwarding company, Farcont Ltd, set up a separate department and profit centre for its project cargo activities.

At the time, the Odessa-based company said that the objective of Farcont Project is to concentrate exclusively on out-of-gauge machinery and project cargo transportation in Ukraine and the CIS countries. Now, Farcont says that whilst the Department is home to four project forwarding specialists, future expansion is planned.

Farcont provides multimodal services in the field of international cargo transportation, and says that whilst it is comparatively young, it is represented by experienced specialists in the field of cargo movement.
