Felbermayr invests in Nooteboom windmill transporters

October 29 - Felbermayr has expanded its transport fleet with a significant number of vehicles for the wind energy industry.

The company has won a substantial contract for the transport and assembly of Vestas wind energy installations in various European countries. For the transport of these installations, Felbermayr has opted for Nooteboom Trailers specialist 4-axle triple extendible Telesteps, adding three to its fleet for the transport of rotor blades. 

Four Mega Windmill Transporters have also been added for the transport of tower sections and nacelles.

The Mega Windmill Transporters are composed of 3-axle and 4-axle jeep dollies, as well as 7-axle self-steering dollies, equipped with the unique LIFTAD-100 lift adaptors.
