Momect takes on high altitude Terex AC100/4l

October 25 - Lifting and heavy transport contractor Momect in Switzerland has taken delivery of a Terex AC 100/4L all terrain crane to perform maintenance tasks on hydro-electric dams in the Swiss Alps as well as other lifting projects.

The ability of the compact 100-tonne lifting capacity crane to perform efficiently and safely within the constraints of the mountainous road and ground conditions present in the Alps were key factors in the company's purchase-decision process.

"For me, the AC 100/4L stands out as the best all terrain model in its class," says Momect director Michel Thurre. "Its long 60-metre boom is a great feature that makes it very versatile. It would be hard to find a better cost-performance relation in this class."
