Müller steps up at Dachser

Jochen Müller has assumed the position of chief operations officer (coo) of air and sea logistics at Dachser, replacing Thomas Reuter.

Müller joined Dachser from Schenker in 2016 to prepare for his duties as coo, as HLPFI reported here.

He previously served as ceo of Schenker's UK organisation and joined the executive board of Schenker Deutschland in 2011, where he was in charge of airfreight and sales for Central Europe, as well as logistics for worldwide relocations, trade shows, and sporting events.

Reuter retired from his position at the end of last year after 39 years with the company. He will retain his seat on the board of the World Air Cargo Organisation (WACO) and will represent Dachser's interests in its joint ventures Jet-Speed and NNR + Dachser.
