OOCL takes fourth vessel

September 28 - OOCL has taken delivery of the 21,413 teu containership OOCL United Kingdom, the fourth in a line of six ships ordered from the Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) shipyard in South Korea.

The first vessel in the series, OOCL Hong Kong was delivered in May, and was followed by OOCL Germany and OOCL Japan.

The OOCL United Kingdom will be serving the Asia-Europe LL1 service.
