Polytra ships to Oman

January 2 - Belgium-based Polytra has organised the delivery of two transformers from Mechelen to Oman, along with 2,000 freight tonnes of other breakbulk cargoes.

The two transformers, each weighing 210 tonnes, were loaded onto a barge at Mechelen and delivered to Antwerp, where there were transhipped directly onto Rickmers Singapore. Additionally, oil drums, cases, crates and accessories were loaded onto the Rickmers Line vessel.

The cargo was shipped to Oman and discharged at the port of Sohar.

Polytra is member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) representing Belgium.
