PSP brings new Clipper 70 yachts to the UK

October 31 - Worldwide freight forwarding and boat transportation company PSP has shipped the first of a new fleet ofChinese built 70-foot ocean racing yachts to the UK, marking the start of a new era for the 40,000 mi (64,374 km) Clipper Round the World

PSP managing director Frank Dixie said the company had delivered the first Clipper 70 this month (October) and the second of 12 identical yachts being built is already en route.

Each Clipper 70 will be loaded onto a vessel in Qingdao, China and transported by sea to Felixstowe in Suffolk, where the mast and rigging will be fitted ready for final fit out, trials and pre-race training.
