Sea trials for Jumbo Jubilee

April 29 - Jumbo Shipping's new J-1800-class heavy lift vessel, Jumbo Jubilee, has left the Damen shipyard in Galatz, Romania, for sea trials, prior to delivery very soon.

Jumbo Jubilee is the last in a series of four ships and was named in honour of the fact that 2008 was a jubilee year for Jumbo, celebrating the 40th anniversary of Jumbo Shipping and the 60th anniversary of general agent Kahn Scheepvaart.
