Treffler begins fleet modernisation

Munich-based crane hire company Treffler, which was acquired by Maxikraft Group during October last year, has ordered seven Liebherr mobile cranes with lifting capacities up to 230 tonnes.

Four of the cranes were delivered in January, including a Liebherr LTF 1045-4.1 telescopic truck-mounted crane, two LTM 1070-4.2 machines and an LTM 1130-5.1.

The remaining three units – an LTM 1055-3.1, an LTM 1090-4.2 and an LTM 1230-5.1 – are scheduled for delivery later this year.

Maik Kanitzky, owner of the Maxikraft Group, said: “We want to retain the Treffler brand and continue to establish it in the market … Our next priority is to modernise the fleet.” By the end of 2020, the Treffler crane fleet will include cranes with lifting capacities of up to 450 tonnes.
