Windy work for Europe Cargo

August 12 - Europe Cargo has coordinated the shipment of 45 wind turbine sections for the Wind aan de Stroom project from Vietnam to Belgium.

The consignment, which included components of 17 wind turbines, was shipped from Vietnam to the port of Antwerp, where the cargo was unloaded ready for installation on Antwerp's left bank.

The cargo was discharged at the Belgian gateway using two 208-tonne capacity Liebherr mobile harbour cranes, before the sections - each weighing around 80 tonnes - were transported to their final destination using two reachstackers.

Europe Cargo is a member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN) in Belgium.
