Inter American Cargo has handled the first batch of wind turbine components for the Pomona wind farm in Argentina.

The cargoes - 14 wind turbine blades, each measuring 64.7 m in length, and ten nacelles - were discharged at the port of San Antonio Este, located on the north coast of Punta Villarino.

Due to the size of the components, Inter American Cargo had to work closely with the provincial authorities to ensure all the proper approvals and permits were in place for the move.

Once complete, the 101.4 MW Pomona wind farm will feature 26 wind turbines.

Inter American Cargo is a member of the WCA Projects network in Argentina.
