September 28 - Logistics Plus, in cooperation with Brazil-based Salco Logistics, has transported the German airplane Landshut, which was hijacked in 1977, from Fortaleza, Brazil to Friedrichshafen, Germany.

Shortly after the hijacking the Boeing 737 returned to service before being sold in 1985 to Brazilian carrier TAF Linhas Aereas, which decommissioned the plane in 2008. The aircraft, which has been at Fortaleza airport since then, was transported to Germany onboard an AN-124-100 and an Ilyushin IL-76TD, supplied by Volga-Dnepr.

Salco Logistics was responsible for the handling of the cargoes during the dismantling process, and the loading operations in Fortaleza.

Upon arrival in Friedrichshafen, Logistics Plus coordinated the transport of the B737 to the Dornier Museum, in cooperation with Kübler Spedition.

Kübler coordinated with the aircraft crew and Logistics Plus team for the reloading operation, and provided trucks and a special trailer to transport the aircraft to the museum where it will be exhibited.
