KOGA Shipping launched

King Ocean Gulf Alliance (KOGA) Shipping has been launched out of Houston, USA, and will focus on breakbulk, project, and bulk shipping throughout the Americas.

Fernando Maruri has been named as the company’s president and ceo. He has longstanding experience in the multipurpose shipping sector; he spent more than 25 years at Intermarine in a series of senior positions.

KOGA will commence with a monthly breakbulk service to the northern and central regions of South America, including Caribs, Trinidad, Suriname and Guyana. Maruri said that carrier plans to be active throughout the Americas, and additional announcements regarding the carrier’s team, schedules, and services will be available in the coming days.

KOGA Shipping has been launched in partnership with King Ocean Services of Miami.
