Martin Bencher breaks own airfreight record

November 15 - Martin Bencher Group's Brazilian and German business units joined forces to plan and execute the delivery of components for the oil and gas industry from Germany to Brazil.

The cargo consisted of 27 cases, which weighed a total of 53.3 tonnes and had a total volume of 220 cu m, alongside 4 cases, each weighing 7.6 tonnes with the dimensions 9 m x 2.4 m x 1.6 m.

Martin Bencher organised collection of the cargo from its origins in Germany, the part charter of a Boeing 747F and delivery from the airport in Brazil to the cargo's final destination, approximately 1,200 km away.

The entire operation, including pre-planning, took place in less than a week, and breaks the group's internal airfreight record, says Martin Bencher.
