Verhage joins DB Schenker

DB Schenker has appointed Hessel Verhage as its ceo for the Americas region, effective August 1, 2019.

Verhage will report to DB Schenker ceo Jochen Thewes and will be responsible for 24 countries in North, Central, and South America.

He has more than 26 years of freight forwarding and logistics experience. He most recently served as ceo of STG Holdings and, prior to that, held senior positions at UTi Worldwide and Global Link Logistics.
