October 9 - Russian crane hire company, Topkran has taken delivery of two new Liebherr mobile cranes.

Grigory Grigorjan, owner of the Moscow-based crane company, personally collected the LTM 1160-5.1 and LTM 1200-5.1 cranes from Liebherr's Ehingen facility and said that the reasons he selected Liebherr is: "Quality and reliability are our highest priority. Liebherr meets our requirements in terms of products and service better than other manufacturers."

Over half of the 50 cranes in the Topkran fleet bear the Liebherr brandname, and a contract was recently signed for the delivery of 33 Liebherr tower cranes.

In terms of mobile cranes, the range extends up to a 500 tonne load capacity, and up to 750 tonnes for crawler cranes. There is a total of 10 Liebherr crawler cranes in the fleet, including two 100 tonne LTR 1100 telescopic cranes.

Both new 5-axle mobile cranes are being added to the fleet as demand continues to be strong, and Topkran serves customers across the whole of Russia.

Both the 160 tonne and 200 tonne versions feature a long and strong telescopic boom as well as a high degree of flexibility in use.

Oleg Orlov, Topkran's technical manager emphasises the simple and easy-to-understand operation of Liebherr cranes, even though these are highly technical products.
