Stevedoring company Portus has loaded two locomotives onboard Amasus' heavy lift vessel Eemslift Dafne at the port of Jacksonville (Jaxport), for onward transportation to Guinea.

North American rail company, CSX, handled the transport of the locomotives, each weighing 363,000 lbs (164.65 tonnes), from Illinois to Jaxport. The cargoes were loaded onto the vessel using the ship's onboard cranes at the heavy lift and speciality cargo berth at Blount Island Marine Terminal.

According to Jaxport, the move was arranged by Houston-based freight forwarder Logistics International.
