A Triumph for Turkish shipyard

November 24 - Besiktas Shipyard in Turkey reports it has completed repairs and maintenance on the Dockwise-owned semi-submersible heavy transport vessel Triumph.

The 216 m-long, 44 m-wide vessel has now left Besiktas, while her sister vessel, Target, is scheduled to arrive at the shipyard for similar work in December.

The Dockwise vessels form part of the largest fleet of specialised semi-submersible heavy lift ships in the world, and are expected to undertake roles including the transportation of offshore drilling rigs and oil production platforms.
