Agility wins KNPC oil & gas contact

May 13 - Agility Logistics has won a five-year, USD24.4 million contract with the Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC).

As part of the deal, Kuwait headquartered Agility Logistics will provide ocean, air and road transportation services to move KNPC materials worldwide. Agility will also supply KNPC projects with spare parts, pipes and oversized parts.
 
Agility will also deliver procurement and purchasing, Customs clearance, freight forwarding and local transportation for KNPC in Kuwait.
 
According to Tarek Sultan, chairman and managing director, Agility Logistics: "We are able to bring together our oil and gas expertise, heavy lift capability and high-value services, and tailor them to our customer's needs. Through our global network, we can make all of these services available in locations where KNPC needs us to be."
