Boskalis salvages Oman tankers

Royal Boskalis Westminster has been contracted to salvage and recover the two tankers that were attacked in the Gulf of Oman last week.

SMIT Salvage, a subsidiary of Boskalis, will complete the operations, salvaging both the vessels and their cargo.

The salvage operations are being carried out in close consultation with the relevant local authorities, including the Marine Emergency Mutual Aid Center (MEMAC).
