FLS-KAA pipes up again

March 17 - Fleet Line Shipping/Kamar Al-Ard (FLS-KAA) has coordinated the shipment of 21,000 tonnes of cement-coated pipes from the UAE to Iraq.

The consignment - which also included an 80-tonne unit of equipment, measuring 12 m x 4.5 m x 4.5 m - was shipped on board a breakbulk vessel operated by Empros Lines (for which Fleet Line Shipping is the exclusive agent in the Middle East).

FLS-KAA organised all import formalities, including duty exemption, Customs clearance and onward transportation to the Iraqi job site.

FLS-KAA is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in Iraq.
