Magdenli moves tunnel boring machinery

April 15 - Magdenli Transport and Trade from Ankara, Turkey, has used its own heavy equipment fleet to move almost 2,000 tonnes of tunnel boring machinery from Gemport to the Cengiz-IC Ictas-Belen consortium's jobsite on the high-speed railway which it is

The machinery, manufactured by Herrenknecht, included various items of equipment, the heaviest weighing 240 tonnes and measuring 6.6 m x 6.4 m x 3.4 m. The widest piece was 7.76 m x 6.76m x 2.10 m, weighing 52 tonnes.
