Talk Cargo, Compass Forwarding and Pan Logistics teamed up to transport three MD 600N helicopters from Turkey to the USA.

The aircraft were loaded into containers in Ankara and transported to Gebze, where they sailed on a direct service to Savannah, USA.

After the ocean transport, specialised trailers were once again used for the road transport – this time for a 400 mile (643.74 km) journey to Crestview in Florida.

Aubrey Inston, Talk Cargo co-founder, said: “Global helicopter logistics is a delicate science and very fluid, requiring a deep understanding of the aircraft, as well as Customs and quarantine compliancy in each country.”

Talk Cargo, Compass Forwarding and Pan Logistics are part of the Aerospace Logistics Group (ALG).
