Date announced for crane and rigging workshop

June 16 - Hundreds of attendees from around the world are expected at the Crane & Rigging Workshop to be held by the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SC&RA), September 22-24 at The Hilton San Diego Bayfront in San Diego, USA.

Workshop sessions will cover such issues as the impact of the European Standard EN13000 on the crane industry worldwide; quality control for rigging gear; the future of cranes; sling inspection simplified; and, what CSA 2010 means to the crane and rigging industry. 

Additionally, workshop registration will include meetings of the SC&RA Crane & Rigging Group's Safety Education & Training Committee, Labour Committee, and Governing Committee; plus an Exhibit centre that features products and services from 66 companies.
