Globalink's Air Freight Division takes off

July 14 - Globalink Logistics Group was approached by the Civil Aviation Authorities in Kazakhstan to handle the movement of airport equipment from USA and France to Astana, Kazakhstan.

The cargo consisted of 20 de-icing trucks and eight push-back vehicles and was required for the renovation and upgrade of airports in Astana and other regional cities.

Globalink's Projects and Air Freight divisions arranged air charters, low bed trailers and special handling equipment for the transportation, loading and unloading of the cargo. Equipment from the USA was transported on a charteredAN-124, whereas oversize equipment was transported by multi-axle low bed trailers overland from France.
