Tacoma elects commission officers

December 22 - The Port of Tacoma in the USA has elected Don Meyer as commission president for 2018.

Meyer, who was first elected to the commission in November 2010, succeeds Dick Marzano as president. Meyer is the former executive director of the Foss Waterway Development Authority and a former deputy executive director of the Port of Tacoma.

The port also appointed Clare Petrich as commission vice president; Don Johnson as secretary; John McCarthy as first assistant secretary; and Dick Marzano as second assistant secretary.
