Talbert adds Modular 65SA range

USA-based Talbert Manufacturing has added the Modular 65SA to its range of specialised trailers.

The trailer’s design features a flip extension to accommodate a tandem or tri-axle jeep dolly. Offering a deck length up to 28 ft (8.5 m), the modular trailer is rated for 65 tons (59 tonnes) in a 13-axle configuration. The capacity can be increased to 70 tons (63.5 tonnes) in a 15 ft (4.6 m) combination with a four-axle close-coupled confirmation.

According to Talbert, the trailer can also be designed to accommodate an additional 10 ft (3 m) or 15 ft section of deck.

Troy Geisler, vice president of sales and marketing for Talbert, added: “Every day, loads are getting bigger, wider and heavier. On top of that, government agencies are pushing for stricter controls to protect ageing infrastructure…The 65SA modular trailer is designed to help operators adjust axle configurations to fit the specific requirements of the load and the road.”
