Great Ocean Maritime Services has appointed Celso Pavão to manage its newly opened office in São Paulo, Brazil.
Pavão started his carrier in the shipping industry in 1985 and has held positions at both international and local carriers, including Intermarine Brazil.
According to Great Ocean, Pavão will manage the company's interests in São Paulo and will help grow its market presence and coverage in the region.
Great Ocean provides port agency services in Brazil and Latin America for a variety of sectors, including dry and liquid bulk, heavy lift, containers, offshore oil and gas, and chemical carriers.
