Rollit steams ahead

November 16 - Rollit Cargo has transported a 135-tonne steam boiler from Valencia, Spain to Strasbourg, France.

The cargo, which measured 17.5 m x 7.5 m x 3.5 m, was loaded onboard a coaster vessel using two telescopic cranes.

From Spain, the steam boiler was transported to the Port of Antwerp where it was transhipped onto a river barge, with a margin of approximately 6 cm. The cargo was subsequently barged from Antwerp to Strasbourg.
