APL partners with Fesco for JRX

APL, in partnership with Russia’s Fesco, will launch a weekly service between Japan and Russia.

The Japan Russia Express (JRX) service will offer transit times from Yokohama to Vostonchny and Vladivostock of seven and nine days respectively. According to APL, shipments from the Japanese port of Kobe to the same two Russian ports will arrive in four and six days respectively.

The service will also call at the South Korean port of Busan, which APL says allows shippers to connect to its extensive service network for global market access.

The JRX service will commence sailing from Yokohama on August 24, 2018.
