Dakotrans handles the heat

August 15 - Dakotrans, a member of the Global Project Logistics Network (GPLN) in Russia, has transported Russian machinery and equipment to a thermal power plant in Vietnam.

A total of 9,620 freight tonnes was transported to the Port of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, across three shipments.

Dakotrans' scope of work included the pre-carriage from the shipper's facilities, arrangement of the vessels and subsequent loading and unloading of the cargo.


Meanwhile, German GPLN member DAKO Worldwide Transport, moved a 150-ton (136-tonne) generator and power plant equipment to Cordoba, Argentina.

The cargoes, which originated in Germany and England, were shipped to the Port of Zárate, Argentina. 

DAKO cooperated with fellow GPLN member Inter America Cargo Group, based in Buenos Aires, for the local handling and on-carriage in Argentina.
