Globalink transforms Kazakhstan

March 10 - Globalink has coordinated the transportation of two transformers from the Chinese city of Hefei to Atyrau in Kazakhstan.

Globalink's office in China supervised the loading and lashing of the cargo onto railcars in Hefei, before handling the transportation of the transformers by rail up to Dostyk on the Kazakhstan border.

Due to the differing rail gauges in Kazakhstan and China, the cargo was offloaded at the border and re-loaded onto waiting rail wagons for the remainder of the journey to Atyrau.

Globalink is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC).
