Russian plant grows with Gold Star

June 16 - Gold Star Consulting has delivered six units of out-of-gauge equipment from northern Italy to a plant under construction in Torzhok City, Russia.

The heaviest units - two of which weighed 54 tonnes and measured 14.5 m x 30.4 m x 3.7 m; and two of which weighed 28 tonnes with the dimensions 11.3 m x 2.25 m x 3.7 m - were first transported from Italy to the German port of Lubeck by road.

From Lubeck, the cargo was shipped via ro-ro vessel to the port of St Petersburg, before being delivered by road to the job site in Torzhok City.

The smaller OOG units and standard semi-trailers were delivered all the way from Italy to the construction site by road.
