November 7 - Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL) has added Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Livorno, Italy as discharge ports on its Asia-Europe service.
The direct service from Japan and Thailand to Europe will call at the ports on a monthly basis with WWL's pure car and truck carriers (PCTC) and large car and truck carriers (LCTC).
The service will offer a transit time from Thailand to Livorno of 25-30 days. From Japan, the transit time to Livorno will be 40-45 days and 48-53 days to Amsterdam.
WWL says the addition of Amsterdam and Livorno offers shippers of vehicles, rolling equipment and breakbulk greater flexibility.
