July 2- Agility has appointed Detlev Janik as ceo for its South Asia area, a role within which Janik will be responsible for leading the company's Integrated Logistics business in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Janik has more than 35 years of experience in the logistics industry, of which over 30 have been based in India and South East Asia. His position in Agility will be based in Mumbai.
Chris Price, ceo of Agility Asia Pacific, India says the South Asia region has "large and fast-growing markets" and that Janik will help to "drive growth in our business" in this area, which is "immensely important to Agility."
