According to Agility, the Greater Gorgon gas fields contain resources of about 40 trillion cubic feet of gas and constitute Australia's "largest-known undeveloped gas resource".
Agility Australia's managing director Mick Turnbull said: "This is a significant step for the company as it continues to develop its world class logistic operations to support the Australian offshore oil and gas industry.
"This project will require significant investment and recruitment and will have an important impact on the West Australian economy."
The contract value is expected to be approximately A$250M (approx USD 195m).
