Cargolux increases calls to Xiamen

Cargolux has increased the frequency of its calls to Xiamen, China to three flights per week using one of its Boeing 747 freighters.

As of July 1, 2019, the expanded service departs from Luxembourg every Monday morning. The return flight includes a stop-off in Los Angeles, USA before returning to Luxembourg.

Cargolux expects main imports from Europe into Xiamen to comprise general cargo as well as spare parts and semiconductor units, while the new frequency from Xiamen to Los Angeles will support the export of clothing items and electronic goods.

According to Cargolux, this additional service meets its growing customer demand and cements the airline’s strong position in China and on transpacific trade lanes.
