Some 1,800 cu m of equipment, including one piece weighing 98 tonnes destined for use on the Moscow Metro expansion project, was loaded onto the ro-ro carrier vessel Atlantic Dream at the New York gateway.
With the heavy lift part of the load measuring 6.3 m x 6.3m x 4.4 m, Albacor said the out-of-gauge cargo was shipped to St Petersburg before continuing the final leg of its journey to Moscow via road.
