ALE ups Australian operations

October 15 - ALE has formed a dedicated unit to serve the onshore oil and gas sector in Australia, by recruiting specialist personnel and investing in bespoke equipment.

With a modern fleet of prime movers, road trains, rig trucks and cranes, ALE's Oil & Gas Services team will offer a number of services, including the relocation of onshore oil and gas drilling rigs.

ALE's general manager, heavy haulage, Shane Dwyer, who is heading up the new business unit, said: "This team will offer the sector a complete turnkey package from collection at port and transport to the first drill site, through to the rig up, rig down, infield moves and on-road relocations."
