October 13 - MEPL International (Middle East Project Logistics) has completed a small but challenging project shipment from China to Sohar Port in Oman.
The Dubai-based project logistics expert handled the shipment of various chiller parts; one of which was 4.8 m by 3.95 m by 3.7 m and weighed 26 tonnes.
MEPL says this shipment was challenging because the components were a vital part of a new facility and had to be shipped without any delays from China.
Out of eight 20 ft flat racks, one was delayed during customs clearance, but MEPL and its Chinese partner got special approval for a late delivery from the shipping line
