BNSF moves press across states

August 30 - BNSF Logistics' global project centre in Houston has coordinated the transport of a large automotive press from Lafayette, Indiana to Georgetown, Kentucky in the USA.

The 192,000 lb (87-tonne) press crown was transported overland using a 19-axle trailer. Due to extensive road works and the required diversions, BNSF explained that it took eight hours to complete the move.

BNSF Logistics is a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in the USA.
