November 15 - Maersk Line, Limited has named James Russell Bruner as its next president and ceo, succeeding John Reinhart.
Bruner joined Maersk in 1989 and has been president and ceo of Maersk, Inc since 2004, as well as executive vice president of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group since 2006.
Bruner succeeds Reinhart who steps down from Maersk in January, 2014, reported by HLPFI on October 16, 2013, and will join Virginia Port Authority as its new executive director and ceo, reported by HLPFI on November 4, 2013.
Maersk Line, Limited (MLL) is an American company within the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group, that provides US flag transportation, ship management and maritime technical services to government and commercial customers.
