March 8 - Canaan Shipping has become the newest member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN) representing Canada.

Canaan Shipping employs 90 staff across four Canadian locations: Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal. Its strengths lie in forestry and agricultural commodity logistics.

"We started out only as a freight forwarding company but have expanded to various services including project cargo and heavy lift," commented Patrick Lo, president, Canaan Shipping.

It recently shifted 40 trains through eight cities destined for the Canada RAV Train Line project on behalf of Montreal headquartered EPC contractor SNC Lavalin Inc and South Korean rolling stock manufacturer Hyundai Rotem Company (pictured).

PCN now has four representatives in the Canadian market: C.H. Robinson Project Logistics, Convoy Logistics Providers, Icecorp Logistics and Canaan Shipping.
