Cargotec merges Hiab and Kalmar; renames business areas

August 18 - Following the recent merger of its Hiab and Kalmar business activities, Cargotec has formed two business areas: Marine, which comprises current MacGregor business area, and Industrial and Terminal, which comprises current Hiab and Kalmar busin

The new Industrial & Terminal organisation includes Product Solutions and Service Solutions (both responsible for global activities), and three regional organisations responsible for sales and service in the Americas, Asia-Pacific and EMEA.

Olli Isotalo continues to head the Marine business as executive vice president, and Pekka Vauramo heads the Industrial & Terminal business as senior executive vice president.
