Chile acquisition for Logwin

February 2 - International logistics service provider Logwin has expanded its activities in South America by acquiring all the shares in Logwin Air + Ocean Chile.

Eduardo Vergara, one of Logwin Air + Ocean Chile's previous minority shareholders, will stay on as managing director of the company.

Logwin's Chilean operation provides services such as air and sea transportation from and to Europe and Asia, transport and logistics in South America, and complex intercontinental project logistics.

For example, Logwin recently transported machine parts weighing a total of 360 tonnes by air freight charter from Sweden to Chile.
