May 27 - Stevedoring company Portus has moved four helicopters through Jaxport's heavy lift and oversize cargo berth at Blount Island Marine Terminal.

The helicopters - each of which measure 50 ft (15.2 m) long and weigh 10,000 lbs (4.5 tonnes) - were shipped into the Florida port on board the US-flagged Liberty Global Logistics ro-ro vessel Liberty Pride.

Owned by a US government ally, the helicopters arrived in the USA from the Middle East and are being transported overland to a manufacturing facility for refurbishment. Once the helicopters have been upgraded, they will be shipped back to the Middle East via Jaxport.
