January 23 - Clipper Projects has opened a new office in Mumbai; India and sees the opening of Clipper Projects India as part of a strategic goal to move closer to its clients in the important and developing Indian market.

The office will be headed by Samir Zunjarrao, as chartering manager.

The company has also taken delivery of another 9,500 dwt multipurpose new building, Clipper Gemini, the last in a series of three similar ships ordered from Yangfan Shipyard, China.

The delivery of the vessel is in line with Clipper Projects' strategic fleet renewal goal.

On its maiden voyage, Clipper Gemini is loading project cargo in Japan which is destined for the USA.
